Cream 80-column punch card with square corners reading “Союзсчеттехника - Topeз” in right margin of card. “Союзсчеттехника” [Soyuzschettekhnika] was an abbreviation for the Former Soviet Union’s “Всесоюзное производственное техническое объединение по техническому обслуживанию и ремонту вычислительной техники” [All-Union Industrial Technical Association for Maintenance and Repair of Computer Equipment]. “IIV 1984 ТУ 57-7-81” is printed on the right margin indicating this card was likely printed in 1984, using a printing plate created in 1981.
The card has column numbers above the above the 0 and 9 rows, with 1 and 2 labelled, then labels for every second column following. The printing consistency of some specimens of this card in the collection are poor with darker and lighter sections. The paper stock used for these also appears to unbleached and many specimens have damage to the edges. The specimens in the archive’s collection were found in modern day Lithuania.
