Pink 80-column punch card with rounded corners and no corner cut. The card is designed for FORTRAN programming and is divided into four fields. The first field is labelled “Statement Number” and contains columns 1-5, the second field is labelled “Continuation” and contains columns 6-6, the third field is labelled “Statement” and contains columns 7-72, and the final field “Identification” contains columns 73-80. Additionally, above the “Statement Number” field, the card has an arrow pointing to a “C” in the column 1, row 12 punch position with the text “For Comment” printed next to the arrow. When this position was punched this card would be interpreted by the FORTRAN compiler as a comment line.
The card is printed with “PDC 01196” in the bottom margin. All columns are numbered below the 0 row, and below the 9 row. All specimens of these cards in the archive are punched with non-FORTRAN data.
