Bell Telephone Laboratories - Aperture Card - Cream - 1973

Images

An aperture card featuring the Bell Laboratories logo used from 1969-1983 in the centre. The card has a number of fields to identify the drawing and sheet number, section number, size, issue, control location, address, distribution, “cl.” and an additional area for remarks.

The card is white in color with a blue stripe. It has rounded corners and the top left corner is cut. The left margin of the card contains the text “MMM 7585”. The bottom margin contains the text “KS-20563 L-2 (3-73)” left aligned and “Printed in the U.S.A.” right aligned. Column numbers for all 80 columns are printed at the bottom of the card.

The card’s microfilm contains several tables with the drawing revisions, engineering notes and manufacturing notes of a Western Electric “Charge and Discharge Circuit”. This sheet would have originally been part of a larger set of drawings for a piece of electrical equipment. The drawing is labelled as “T-81591-30”.
