ADOIT Input Control (Z) Card

Images

This card is a control card for an automatically directed outgoing intertoll trunk test frame (ADOIT). The ADOIT is a piece of telephone exchange equipment used to test circuits on intertoll trunks (long distance telephone lines) [1]. This equipment could be programmed using punch cards, and this card could then be read in to cancel a certain test operation. As per the writing on the card, this caused the ADOIT to read and print information from another piece of exchange equipment, the Automatic Transmission Measuring System Frame (ATMS), which was able to measure several quality metrics on the intertoll trunks[2].
